Our department was established in 2008 within the body of Engineering Faculty of Iğdır University. It has taken its first students in the 2016-2017 academic year and still continues education. It continues its teaching activities with a total of 10 academic staff including 3 professor doctors, 2 associate professors, 2 assistant professors and 3 research assistants.
In our department, 52 undergraduate students, 12 of whom are foreign nationals, are trained. Our students who graduate from our department, which has an active infrastructure every year, with its Basic Electrical Laboratory, Basic Electronic Laboratory and Logic Laboratory, which are active every year in 2020-2021 academic year, are brought to the country and the world. In addition to engineering laboratories, the Informatics Laboratory, which consists of 42 computers, is available for our students.
13 graduate students continue their scientific studies in our department. There is a Nano Technology laboratory which has been actively used for postgraduate studies.
