SHORT HISTORY
Engineering Faculty was founded within the scope of Iğdır University in 2008. At the faculty, there are Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Environmental Engineering. In Department of Food Engineering: we accepted 33 students in first grade, 30 students in second grade and 22 students in double shift schooling. In this way we began education and training. Besides, 6 postgraduate students have been keeping their education. We will accept students for those departments if we provide enough basic facilities in accordance with the principles of Council of Higher Education.
In 2018-2019 Academic Year, Mechanical Engineering Department 60, Second Teaching Program 40; Civil Engineering Second Teaching Program will start with the quota of 40 students. As long as the general infrastructure of the Higher Education Institution is sufficient, the students will be admitted to the relevant departments.
